CDXi Solutions P.C. is an impact-driven business intelligence company that offers spatial and multi-modal AI analytics to support the twin transition of public and private organizations. CDXi Solutions is a spin-off company of the Information Technologies Institute (ITI), part of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH). The company leverages AI and EO to create impactful sustainable solutions that uncover business insights in the domains of: Water quality: In EU, more than 1.5 million water samples are analysed manually each year, with more than 150,000 being found with high concentrations of organic matter, which may lead to a more severe contamination event. CDXi provides a solution that combines deep tech with satellite data to provide in-sights on the quality of inland water resources. Aluminium inspection (technology transfer from the space domain): Dross is a byproduct that forms on the surface of molten aluminium and can lead to significant material loss, increased waste, and opera-tional inefficiencies. Currently, dross detection and removal largely depend on manual inspection and ex-perience, which introduces inconsistency and delays. CDXi provides a solution that uses computer vision algorithms to provide insights on the state and condition of the aluminium delacquering process. Civil protection: Exposure of citizens to potential disasters has led to vulnerable societies that require risk reduction technologies and solutions for monitoring crisis events. CDXi provides a solution that utilizes social media streams to reveal the “hidden” insights that may derive from them in crisis events.
