Strategic Priorities: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data.

Looking for Partnerships: Entities interested in Decision Support Systems, EO Applications, Multi-sensors fusion, Simulation.

Background

Established: 0000-00-00

Projects & Missions: Maritime Surveillance System & MSS performs signal processing of SAR data for Vessel Detection, Identification, Speed and Attitude estimation, as well as Classification. MSS uses detection algorithms such as Fusion based CFAR Detector, Markov Chain based CFAR Detector. MSS also performs feature & pixel-based classification. It can be widely used in Maritime Reconnaissance & Intelligence, Border Control and Search & Rescue applications. Vessel Anomaly Detection performs detection of suspicious activities such as deviations from normal traffic patterns, increased speed in a port, sailing in restricted areas, etc. The system monitors the movement of vessels through the data fusion of various types of sensors (AIS, Radar, SAR satellite images), to determine unjustified and suspicious vessel movement. Deviations from such canonical behaviours are reported to the operators of a control centre in the form of alerts. Vision-aided Gyros Data Fusion Algorithm.

Key Customers: Semiconductor SMEs and Stakeholders in general.
