Our commitment

The Hellenic Space Center and the Ministry of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence are committed to making the Greek Space Ecosystem Catalogue (the “Portal”) accessible, in accordance with the EU Web Accessibility Directive (Directive (EU) 2016/2102) and its transposition into Greek law. We aim to design and maintain the Portal to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and to the harmonised European standard EN 301 549 (v3.2.1), which sets out the accessibility requirements for public-sector websites.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We have carried out a review of representative pages across the site — including the homepage, the organisation search and catalogue pages, and organisation profile pages — using both automated testing (the axe-core accessibility engine) and manual checks. Identified issues such as missing landmark regions, insufficient colour contrast, unlabelled images, and incorrect heading order have been corrected where found. A comprehensive, page-by-page audit of the entire site has not yet been completed, so some pages may not yet have been individually reviewed.

Non-accessible content

As of the date of this statement, the following limitation is known:

• A “skip to content” link used for keyboard navigation sits outside the page’s main landmark regions. This is a minor best-practice note rather than a failure of a WCAG 2.1 success criterion, and does not prevent the link from functioning.

Content submitted by participating organisations (such as logos, images, and descriptions supplied through the public listing form) is provided by third parties and may not always meet the same accessibility standard; we ask contributors to provide meaningful text alternatives where possible.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 29 July 2026. It is based on a self-assessment carried out by the Portal’s front-end team, combining automated scanning with the axe-core testing engine and manual review of page structure, colour contrast, keyboard navigation, and screen-reader labelling. This statement will be reviewed and updated as further improvements are made.

Enforcement procedure

This Directive is implemented in Greece via national legislation transposing Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
