Early-stage VC fund for high-potential technology-transfer startups in Greece
Details
Corallia Ventures is a Greek venture capital fund focused on early-stage, high-potential technology-transfer startups emerging from Greece’s research and innovation ecosystem, typically investing up to €300,000 at the pre-seed/seed stage and supporting follow-on rounds as companies demonstrate traction. Its investment scope spans deep-tech sectors including AI, advanced software, semiconductors, robotics, biosciences, energy and space-related technologies. In the space domain, Corallia Ventures has a growing portfolio and pipeline around satellite systems, space electronics, autonomous systems, Earth Observation and space-enabled digital services; examples include investments in SOLIDKOSMOS, which develops critical-systems reliability technologies relevant to space electronics, as well as other space- and dual-use ventures emerging from the Greek research ecosystem. Corallia Ventures also benefits from close links to the wider Greek space innovation community and ESA BIC Greece.

Strategic Focus
Strategic Priorities: Investment in early-stage deep-tech startups and spin-offs originating from technology transfer, particularly technologies emerging from universities, research centres and Greek research teams internationally. Priority areas include Space Technologies, AI, Health Sciences, Energy, Transport & Logistics, AgriTech, Cybersecurity, IoT, Nano/ Microelectronics, 6G and Industry 5.0. The Fund aims to support commercialisation, international scalability, follow-on financing and sustainable long-term value creation with strong ESG standards.
Looking for Partnerships: Co-investment with VC funds, business angels and strategic investors; deal flow and spin-off creation with universities, research centres and Technology Transfer Offices; collaboration with corporates seeking deep-tech innovation; international investors and accelerators; commercial and industrial partners for portfolio companies; and organisations active in space, dual-use technologies, semiconductors, AI, robotics and advanced engineering.
Background
Established: 2024-04-10
Projects & Missions: Investment in SOLIDKOSMOS S.A. – €300,000 investment (2026): develops reliability and resilience technologies for critical computing systems, including fault-tolerant computing, radiation characterisation and verification technologies for space and aerospace applications. Space technologies are also explicitly included among the Fund’s target investment sectors.
Key Customers: Not applicable. As a venture-capital manager, Corallia Ventures does not primarily serve customers. Its principal stakeholders are portfolio companies, founders, co-investors, universities/research centres, technology-transfer offices and the Fund’s investors/limited partners, including HDBI.
Affiliations/Memberships: Hellenic Development Bank of Investments (HDBI) through the AccelerateTT investment programme; links with the wider Greek technology-transfer and innovation ecosystem. Corallia Ventures’ team also has strong institutional links with the Greek space ecosystem and ESA BIC Greece, but I would describe these as ecosystem links rather than formal organisational memberships unless you want to document a specific agreement.
Facilities: No dedicated space laboratory, test facility or technical infrastructure. Corallia Ventures is an investment organisation rather than a technical R&D facility. Its relevant infrastructure consists of investment, business-development, technology-transfer, mentoring and internationalisation capabilities and access to its wider innovation networks.
