GRNET – National Infrastructures for Research and Technology is Greece’s national research and education network and a key public technology organisation operating under the Ministry of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence. It provides advanced networking, cloud, high-performance computing, data and digital infrastructure services to the research, education and public sectors, while also developing national capabilities in artificial intelligence, quantum communications and large-scale digital platforms. Within the space ecosystem, GRNET’s high-capacity networks, cloud and HPC infrastructure, cybersecurity expertise and support for data-intensive research are particularly relevant to Earth Observation processing, satellite-data exploitation, secure communications and other advanced space-enabled applications.
