AUTONOMA develops cutting-edge software solutions for AI-based autonomous decision-making, planning and perception for unmanned systems. Those solutions aim to increase the autonomy and capabilities of unmanned systems and, therefore, in-crease the system’s performance while reducing the required human effort for the system’s operation.

At Caius, we enhance rural regions through ecotourism and environmental protection with AI-driven tools. Using satellite and geomorphological data, we map forests, analyse road and trail networks, and automate the digitization of rural areas. Our flagship product, “caius paths”, digitizes forest road networks, identifies maintenance needs, and designs hiking and emergency access routes to safeguard visitors and landscapes. Additionally, our platform provides real-time road accessibility updates during natural disas-ters, 3D trail mapping for immersive exploration, and AI-driven audio guides for on-the-go visitor insights. These tools offer a comprehensive approach to ecotourism, safety, and conservation in rural areas.
