Consortis Geospatial, based in Thessaloniki, Greece, was founded in 2013. Up to date, it has undertaken various projects in a wide and complex variety of geoinformation applications and services related to remote sensing, photogrammetry, cartography, geodesy, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), in-creasing its capabilities and resulting in the creation of a strong and flexible process that provides high-quality products to meet any kind of technical and aesthetic specifications. Location plays a critical role in the decision-making process. We make the most of it by providing advanced services, including software development, geospatial analysis, and modern mapping methods.
The remote sensing group of the Department of Geography of Harokopio University of Athens (HUA) is named HUA Earth Observation Team and is not established as an official laboratory. The HUA Earth Observation Team is composed of geologists, geographers, and engineers. The main objective of research interest constitutes the use of space Earth Observation systems (more, specifically, SAR interferometry and very high spatial resolution remote sensing data for natural risks and disaster assessment, mitigation, and monitoring). The corresponding laboratory of geoinformatics is equipped with multiple high-performance workstations for extensive processing requirements.
Geomatics SA is a dynamically growing company involved in consulting, research, and applications devel-opment that offers a wide spectrum of services covering the fields of spatial data collection, processing, and management while emphasising specifically on raw data collection by means of airborne systems (aerial photography, LIDAR, multispectral sensors), data processing, and the production of cartographic backgrounds in both vector and raster formats, digital cartography, and geoinformatics applications. More specifically, Geomatics SA is highly active in the fields of: aerial photography with the use of modern digi-tal systems; digital processing and management of aerial photographs; Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) and orthophoto maps production; utilising both aerial photographs and satellite imagery; data collection and processing using laser sensors; cartographic background production; and digital cartography. Addi-tionally, the company is active in the fields of Geographic Information Systems applications and spatial data development, satellite data processing and analysis, as well as remote sensing applications utilising data originating from both satellite and airborne sensors. The company is vertically structured/organised and possesses state-of-the-art equipment and, most importantly, scientific and technical staff of the high-est level, elements that provide the company with the ability to undertake and carry out large and com-plex mapping projects as well as geoinformatics and remote sensing applications. Geosystems Hellas S.A. (GSH) is a top-tier provider of advanced geospatial SW solutions, geoinformat-ics, and data analysis. Activities focus on EO services, downstream space, remote sensing, geographic information systems, photogrammetry, data management, and platform development and integration. The Interbalkan Environment Centre (i-BEC) as an international cluster of new technologies and innovation linking together the public and private sectors for sustainable management of natural resources and protection of the environment. i-BEC acts through a global network in cooperation with governmental organisations, research institutes, and the private sector. Within this network, i-BEC provides integrated, relia-ble solutions and services and is actively involved in transnational ex-change and application of knowledge and best management practices overseas, in Europe and the Balkans. i-BEC turns EO and space data into services, thanks to ground-based instruments, satellite imagery, teleme-try, in-situ measurements, lab analyses, UAVs, URVs, and remote sens-ing. i-BEC’s undertakes the integration and management of environ-mental data in a shared infrastructure, scaling applications both geo-graphically and thematically, and meeting the requirements of locally focused needs of the public and private sectors (formation of clusters) that adhere to international standards (GEO). i-BEC provides EO data and services in areas such as management of raw data concerning pol-lution control from human activities and environmental protection of coastal and rural areas, early warning systems for critical incidents and dangerous phenomena, and early warning and decision support sys-tems for water supply and irrigation management practices, as well as site-specific farm management for precision agriculture. i-BEC provides high accuracy maps of soil properties, AI algorithms for soil properties estimation, and integrated sensing.

The National Observatory of Athens (NOA) is the oldest research centre in modern Greece and a key scientific institution for astronomy, astrophysics, space applications, Earth Observation and remote sensing. Through its Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing, NOA develops research, infrastructure and services that connect space science with practical applications in environmental monitoring, climate, geohazards, space weather and satellite data exploitation. With strong participation in European and international programmes, advanced observational facilities, and a long-standing role in scientific monitoring and public outreach, NOA is an important contributor to the Greek space ecosystem and to the use of space-based knowledge for science, policy and society.
Planetek Hellas is a member of the Planetek Group that, since 1994, operates in the Space market, specializing in Satellite EO. Planetek Hellas provides downstream, midstream, and upstream solutions in End2End space missions. Planetek is one of the very few companies in Europe holding a complete knowledge in EO applications in all the domains. This has proven pivotal for the company’s New Space ambitions for provision of user-driven, end2end space-based solutions that include all the phases of the project (from the user requirements definition and design of the mission to the development and operations of the satellite/constellation). The Remote Sensing Laboratory (RSLab) of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) was established in 1987 and has significant expertise in EO and remote sensing, big data, open data, data analytics, environmental monitoring, computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, and pattern recognition, hyperspectral, multispectral, thermal, radar, LIDAR, and UAV data analysis. Involved in several EU and national research projects, NTUA has significant experience in designing, developing, and validating cutting-edge technology and innovative frameworks for a vast variety of engineering, environmental, agricultural, cultural heritage, security, and robotics applications. Over the last ten years, members of the RSLab team have published over 100 publications in scientific journals, books, and book chapters and over 300 presentations at top-rank international conferences. The RSLab consists of 37 scientists, i.e., 3 professors, 6 senior researchers/postdocs, 13 PhD students, and 17 M.Sc. students. The RSLab, a member of EARSeL, offers and manages several bachelor’s and master’s courses in EO, Geomatics, and Geospatial Data Science, while it actively supports students and researchers’ mobility (e.g., Erasmus+). Furthermore, the RSLab coordinates and participates as a scientific/technical manager in several EU and national research projects in space, ICT, environment, and agriculture, including EU H2020, EEA, MED, and the National Research Excellence Programme.
