Bitrezus is focusing on reducing the risk of cyberattacks against space assets, using a combination of embedded H/W and blockchain technology to create an extra level of security. Bitrezus enables critical opcode consensus in real-time among untrusted partners for resilient and cyber-proof operation of both space and ground infrastructure. Current satellite systems were not designed with full cybersecurity in mind. They have weak encryption and use legacy systems that are not easily patched or updated. Addi-tionally, existing cybersecurity solutions rely on terrestrial stations becoming a single point of failure and performance bottleneck and are hardly scalable due to their centralized nature. Based on reports, a cyberattack on the Global Positioning System alone could cost $1 billion a day. Our solution, Astropledge, is targeted towards the satellite manufacturing segment (upstream) and the satellite services, including ground operations. Our focus is the EU, with the European space industry being the second largest in the world, estimated to be worth €53-62 billion. Approximately 1700 satellites will be launched every year un-til 2030, and in the next decade we will witness a trend in the increase of mega-constellations, largely composed of smallsats, with 60% of those in the Satcom industry. Our vision is to be able to evolve As-tropledge to become a central component for intelligent diagnosis and self-healing of the software and firmware existing in the components and subsystems of the space asset and are vital for its operation. Af-ter 2026, our goal is to identify market opportunities in other industries internationally, such as manufac-turing, maritime, energy, and others. We envisage a subscription-based model including hardware and software support and an SLA model for node maintenance, system, and hardware-level upgrades.

CDXi Solutions P.C. is an impact-driven business intelligence company that offers spatial and multi-modal AI analytics to support the twin transition of public and private organizations. CDXi Solutions is a spin-off company of the Information Technologies Institute (ITI), part of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH). The company leverages AI and EO to create impactful sustainable solutions that uncover business insights in the domains of:
Water quality: In EU, more than 1.5 million water samples are analysed manually each year, with more than 150,000 being found with high concentrations of organic matter, which may lead to a more severe contamination event. CDXi provides a solution that combines deep tech with satellite data to provide in-sights on the quality of inland water resources.
Aluminium inspection (technology transfer from the space domain): Dross is a byproduct that forms on the surface of molten aluminium and can lead to significant material loss, increased waste, and opera-tional inefficiencies. Currently, dross detection and removal largely depend on manual inspection and ex-perience, which introduces inconsistency and delays. CDXi provides a solution that uses computer vision algorithms to provide insights on the state and condition of the aluminium delacquering process.
Civil protection: Exposure of citizens to potential disasters has led to vulnerable societies that require risk reduction technologies and solutions for monitoring crisis events. CDXi provides a solution that utilizes social media streams to reveal the “hidden” insights that may derive from them in crisis events.

Loctio is disrupting the positioning capabilities of IoT devices by combining two technology approach-es. It fuses multiple positioning signals like GNSS, LEO PNT & 5G and migrates the computationally inten-sive calculations to the Cloud or Edge. In this manner, accurate, ubiquitous, secure, and ultra-low power positioning allows the deployment of numerous IoT devices. Now this is not impossible due to power and processing resources limitations. This will be offered as a Location as a Service (LaaS) framework. Loctio’s business pertains to the financially prosperous low-power asset tracking market that yielded €4.5B in rev-enues during 2019 and is projected to reach €30B by 2029. Moreover, the outlook foresees more than 550M low-power asset trackers operating in the field in the same year. Loctio is willing to make available its LaaS framework through subscriptions to logistics, mobility/transportation, surveillance, utilities, and insurance companies deploying millions of IoT devices that need accurate, secure, and ubiquitous outdoor and indoor positioning without sacrificing battery longevity. Hence, recurring revenues from the LaaS comprise the prime revenue stream that is anticipated to bring in tens of millions of revenues after 2024.

TRIMSIGNAL is a Greek semiconductor and embedded-systems company, incubated at ESA BIC Greece, specialising in hardware-accelerated deterministic signal processing on FPGA/SoC platforms for space and space-related instrumentation. The company designs and delivers complete electronic subsystems where precision timing is the decisive resource: real-time receivers for coherent wind LiDAR supporting calibration and validation of spaceborne atmospheric sensors, payload electronics and ground digital receivers for optical and quantum communication links, and data acquisition and processing chains built to CCSDS and ECSS practice. Its current LiDAR receiver subsystem, developed under the ESA BIC programme, has reached TRL 7 as an operational prototype: sixteen parallel processing pipelines, end-to-end latency below 50 microseconds, inter-pipeline synchronization below 10 ps RMS, within a 10 to 13 W power envelope. The company’s second technology pillar is Dynamic Frequency Boosting (US Patent 10,740,519 B2), a cycle-level clock adaptation technique that raises computational throughput and energy efficiency in digital ICs and FPGAs by adjusting the clock frequency to the paths actually active at execution time, recovering the worst-case timing margins that conventional synchronous design pays on every cycle. Applied to radiation-tolerant devices, whose silicon trails commercial nodes, DFB translates directly into performance per watt, the scarcest resource of small satellite payloads.
